Between the 8th and 9th of April , 2022, a Coloquium will be held in the ancient city of AquaeEn general, término usado para designar las aguas termales, normalmente en plural como indica Varrón (Varro. Ling. IX, 41, 68-69), por surgir frecuentemente más de un manantial en el mismo... Flaviae (Chaves, Portugal) focused on different aspects of ancient Thermalism, and specifically on the surprising Roman spa discovered in this city only a few years ago. This thermal spa was mainly excavated by the researcher Sergio Fiadeiro Carnéiro, and it is a fantastic example of this type of building in the Iberian Peninsula.
Great initiative to disseminate the thermal heritage of this city, and in general about the thermal heritage of the Roman Empire!
