Supported by the Arvernes 2.0 chair of the Clermont Auvergne University Foundation, the research program “The ancient remains of Mont-Dore” aims to study the Gallo-Roman monumental complex (thermal baths and temple) of Mont-Dore (Puy- de-Dôme) and to contextualize it.
Led by a multidisciplinary team, it takes place over several years. At the end of the first year of research, 2020, the archaeologists Elise Nectoux, Dominique Tardy and Bertrand Dousteyssier, the geologist Pierre Boivin, the geomatian Jonathan Boiné and sculptor-stonemason Yves Connier present this project and the actions already undertaken.
