We are pleased to inform you that the dates for the 5th International Congress on Ancient Thermalism have been scheduled for May 17th to 21st, 2027.
As previously announced, the conference will be held in Varaždinske Toplice (Croatia)—the ancient Roman settlement of Aquae Iasae—and will focus on the topic: The role of the Roman army in the development of ancient thermal spas: builders, users, and promoters.
El Call for Papers will be opened in September, along with more detailed information regarding accommodation and accompanying activities. For now, we are sending you a tentative, preliminary program, which will be finalized depending on the number of participants and presentations.
We hope you will join us for an inspiring and productive conference on Ancient Thermalism in May 2027!
