New European Project rurALLURE starts!

The new European project rurALLURE starts, with a pilot on pilgrimage routes and thermal heritage.

The European Project rurALLURE. Promotion of rural museums and heritage sites in the vicinity of European pilgrimage routes has started its journey on January 1st of 2021, with the aim of “leverage the state-of-the-art in information technologies in order to promote rural museums and heritage sites in the vicinity of major European pilgrimage routes”.

To evaluate the proposals and the development of the platform that will be created for this purpose, the project contemplates the development of four pilot experiences. One of them will be focused on the Thermal Heritage (with special relevance in archaeological heritage) on the Roads to Rome (Italy), specially linked to the Via Francigena, Romea Strata and Romea Germanica.

This project has been funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme under grant agreement no 101004887.
