61.1-5 C. Sextius pro cos. victa Salluviorum gente coloniam Aquas Sextias condidit, ob aquarum copiam e caldis frigidisque fontibus atque a nomine suo ita appellatas.

61.1–5 El procónsul Gayo Sextio venció al pueblo de los saluvios y después fundó la colonia de Aguas Sextias, llamada así por la abundancia de aguas que manan de fuentes calientes y frías y por su propio nombre.

Indica que había fuentes de aguas termales calientes y frías en este lugar.

In this case, he includes the examples of some of those cities: Puteolos (Puteoli, Italy), (Aquae) Statiellas (Acqui Terme, Italy) and (Aquae) Sextias (Aix-en-Provence, in France)
