En este caso los baños no son de ninguna utilidad, pero sí el leer en alta voz, el ejercitar las partes superiores, el emplear unturas y friegas, afusiones frías, el nadar en agua fría, el tomar duchas a la misma temperatura y dirigidas al estómago, o mejor aún, haciendo que desciendan desde los hombros hasta la región correspondiente a este órgano. Es saludable bañarse en fuentes frías y medicinales, como las de Cutilias y las de Sumbruinas.
