{"id":6609,"date":"2025-05-29T10:20:44","date_gmt":"2025-05-29T08:20:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/healingspasinantiquity.es\/?p=6609"},"modified":"2025-05-29T10:20:44","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T08:20:44","slug":"end-of-the-4th-international-congress-on-ancient-thermalism-in-vichy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/healingspasinantiquity.es\/es\/end-of-the-4th-international-congress-on-ancient-thermalism-in-vichy\/","title":{"rendered":"End of the 4th International Congress on Ancient Thermalism in Vichy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From 25 to 28 May 2025, the 4th International Congress on Ancient Thermalism was held in the spa town of Vichy (France).<\/p>\n<p>REsearchers from more than 10 countries participated, including Croatia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Hungary, North Macedonia, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, and Spain. So it has been an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and strengthen a network of researchers on thermalism in antiquity, with many projects already underway and others to come.<\/p>\n<p>The organisers would like to thank the Maison des Sciences Humaines de Clermont-Ferrand (Universit\u00e9 Clermont Auvergne, CNRS), the Service r\u00e9gional de l&#8217;arch\u00e9ologie &#8211; DRAC Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes and the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid for their support and funding, as well as the A<a href=\"https:\/\/www.villesdeaux. com\/presentation\/association\">ssociation Villes d&#8217;Eaux<\/a>, the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid, and the Vichy City Council, for their collaboration in this event, as well as all the technicians and collaborators who participated. Without their fundamental help, the conference would not have been possible.<\/p>\n<p>And, of course, thank you to everyone who participated and accompanied us during these days in Vichy! It has been an incredible few days, learning, getting to know different projects, and above all sharing experiences with a fantastic group of people: \u2018the Thermal Family\u2019.
